[Yum] reposync 32 bit repo on 64 bit host

Hi

On a 64 bit host reposync fetches only noarch packages for a 32 bit
repository and ignores i386 and i686 packages.  The command is:

reposync -a i386 -m -c centos-6.3-i386.conf -n \
-r updates-mirror-6.3-i386 -p /centos/6.3/updates

centos-6.3-i386.conf is:

[updates-mirror-6.3-i386]
name=CentOS-6.3 - Updates
baseurl=http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/centos/6.3/updates/i386/

I've had no problems in the past syncing 64 bit repos on 32 bit
hosts but not having any luck the other way round.

This is on CentOS 6.3 with:

yum-3.2.29-30.el6.centos.noarch
yum-utils-1.1.30-14.el6.noarch

Is this a bug or am I missing something?
