[Yum] problema com CentOS 6 - Ajuda por favor

Instalei recente o Cent.OS 6 E nao consigo instalar nehum pacotes...nem
mesmo consigo executar o YUM UPDATE OU YUM UPGRADE..
Ele me retorna a seguinte mensagem:

LOADED PLUGIN: fastestmirror, refresh-pacagelist, security

Loading mirror speeds from cached host file

COULD NOT  RETRIEVE  MIRRORLIST HTTP://
MIRRORLIS.CENTOS.ORG/?RELEASE=6&ARCH=I386&REPO=OS ERROR WAS

14: PYCURL ERROR 6  - " COULDN´T RESOLVE HOST  "MIRRORLIST.CENTOS.ORG"

ERROR: CANNOT FIND A VALID BASEURL  FOR REPO : BASE



Como posso corrigir e usar ele normalmente,o que pode ser feito?

Por favor me ajudem?
