[Yum] RPM is appended to my mirror list entries

A cgi script that returns a list of URLs in the initial format.  Checked the
script - nothing adding the text there.

I can only assume that the metadata for yum is assigning the RPMS suffix -
not sure how to check, but if I do a 'yum clean all' the problem goes away,
but I would like to be able to check to see what is adding the suffix.
