Hi -

I'm actually in the process of RPM bootstrapping CLFS (Cross-Compiled
Linux From Scratch)

I haven't actually gotten yum installed yet, but it did build for me
(some of the deps aren't ready)

This website is NOT anywhere near ready for public consumption but I
will be detailing the process here:

http://www.clfsrpm.net/

I'm choosing clfs over lfs because it is easier to use clfs to make a
good 64-bit multilib environment.

Yum really only is practical to use if your system is RPM bootstrapped.
Anyway - bootstrapping a LFS/CLFS system is a rather daunting task,
especially if you care about doing things correctly.

What is it you wish to use yum for on your LFS?
