Something I've noticed today. Doing "yum clean" will try to download
metadata if it doesn't have it:

icon at esk:[~]$ sudo yum clean all
updates-testing           100% |=========================| 1.9 kB    00:00
primary.sqlite.bz2        100% |=========================| 252 kB    00:00
...
Cleaning up Everything
icon at esk:[~]$

This is probably not intended (I hope so. :)).

icon at esk:[~]$ rpm -q yum
yum-3.2.4-2.fc7
