Hello to you,
I just tried to do the procedure again ( via telnet ) :
[root at svr1 fc6]# yum localinstall ./telnet*.rpm
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Local Package Process
Examining ./telnet-0.17-37.i386.rpm: telnet - 1:0.17-37.i386
Examining ./telnet-server-0.17-37.i386.rpm: telnet-server - 1:0.17-37.i386
Marking ./telnet-server-0.17-37.i386.rpm to be installed
Setting up repositories
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os/repodata/repom
d.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (-3, 'Temporary failure in name
resolut
ion')>
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: core
[root at svr1 fc6]#
PLS :
1. The Server machine without Internet connection.
2, I want to know how to modify the configeration of yum, then without
the problem with localinstall mode ( install / update the rpm packages
files from local Disk, without connect with Internet ) ...
Edward.
