[Yum] Install / update problem

I'm only new to this list, but I'm guessing the
experts will want a bit more info - what do you
actually want to achieve?

Have you read the man page? Searched the web (e.g.
http://fedoranews.org/mediawiki/index.php/Using_yum_localinstall_packagename)?
