[Yum] newbie

There is no such command as "Install".  I don't know what you are doing
over there.

To build yum-2.0.8.tar.gz, run this:
   rpmbuild -ta yum-2.0.8.tar.gz

That will build yum-2.0.8-1.noarch.rpm  (the full path will be printed
near the end of the build.

Then install that package with:
  rpm -Uvh <fullpath>yum-2.0.8-1.noarch.rpm
