[Yum] Yum freezes cpu

Hello list,

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?  Yum worked fine for a while,
but now it seems to get stuck when updating the repository info.  It finds a
server, then starts consuming all the cpu it can until I can't do anything
but restart.  Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?
