[Yum] yum failure: says 'no more mirrors to try'

Hi,

Yum is giving me a bizarre error message. It works ok from my regular
account, but whenever I try to install something as root, it says

"failure: repodata/repomd.xml from livna: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to
try.
Error: failure: repodata/repomd.xml from livna: [Errno 256] No more
mirrors to try."

I get this message even when I just try to do a search as root. Can anyone
please tell me what is going on, and how to fix it? I would really
appreciate it.
