Does anyone know how to use Yum to create a jailroot/chroot environment?
I tried:
[root at linuxjohn4 fc3]# yum --installroot=/usr/jailroot/fc3/ install gcc
Repository updates-released already added, not adding again
Repository base already added, not adding again
Setting up Install Process

Trying other mirror.
Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: base
failure: repodata/repomd.xml from base: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to
try.
Has anyone done this? Basically I would like to create a jailroot of
Fedora Core 3.
It seems like using Yum to create a jailroot would be a natural
extension of its capabilities but I am not quite sure how to do it.
Thanks,
John
