[Yum] Survey of Use

So let me get this straight...

I can either go with fedora and upgrade all machines every year, or I
can go with enterprise and pay through the roof every year?  Hrm, tough
choice.

Like probably many others, I'm trying to decide right now what to do
with my RH7.x machines.  Fedora or enterprise?  Hrm.

I'll have 1000+ machines within a few months.  Hrm.  Let's see.
$2500   = 1 * $2500 Proxy server
$19125  = 765 * $25 i386 WS (compute nodes)
$384000 = 256 * $1500 opteron AS (compute nodes)
$288000 = 192 * $1500 itanium AS (compute nodes)
$4500   = 3 * $1500 i386 AS (head nodes)
Totals: $698125

Ouch.  That's obviously not going to happen.  The opteron/itanium BS
pisses me off.  I'm looking at the enterprise 3 mirror right now, there
are 2 added packages in opteron that are not in i386.  A $1475
difference for two packages!

Anyone know if fedora will ever build for other arches besides i386?
