[Yum] problem with groupinstall

yum attempts to a yumgroups.xml file from every repository, then it
merges them b/t the repositories. As long as there is at least 1
yumgroups.xml file on any of your repositories then groupinstall should
succeed.

is groupinstall not installing the packages you'd expect?
