the filename has little if ANY bearing on what the actual information in
the rpm is. typically they match up. - they don't have to.

true enough - thats why yum never trusts the filename until yum-arch has
read through it and gotten the info out of the filename.

and how about calling it yum-get or yum-sync or some such thing.

yum-suck just gives me the worries :)
