[Yum] new daily with fun new fixes

Hi all,
 New daily up - in http://www.dulug.duke.edu/yum/download/

things done:

'-r' works as we discussed on the list earlier - thanks to all for that.

fixed a bunch of soon-to-become bugs thanks to pychecker (thanks to
jeremy katz for the suggestion to use that)

updated the AUTHORS file

updated the ChangeLog

please beat this one up a little more and let me know what I broke. :)
