Two things that bug me here:

1. why isn't distroSyncPkgs something off of yumbase instead of 
YumBaseCli? Doesn't it seem reasonable for that to be an api call?

2.  What comes out of turning obsoletes off? What's the situation where 
that's going to end well?


I see the advantage of the functionality, but I'm not sure if it would 
only be a yum cli command.
