http://linux.duke.edu/projects/yum/ definitely does not redirect,
hence one of my reasons for getting this changed.
"link:http://linux.duke.edu/projects/yum/" in google turned up 195
results which is not a lot, well less than I expected. I have already
contacted a number of the more mainstream sites and requested an
update, with one update (not a mainstream one) already done.

I have also requested ownership for the freshmeat.net entry which has
last been updated in September 2004. There is api's available to do
programtic updates of the freshmeat listings, and I am sure someone
have written something that can easily integrate with git. I will
research the matter and make a suggestion on the list.

If you can ask Drew to help that would be great as the redirect does
not work as stated above.
