in 3.0.3 we added in some dep solving timing output. I believe you can
run yum -d 5 update and it will print out how long each dep took to
solve. An interesting test would be to see how much time is being spent
downloading vs finding the hdr to download.
Could you give that a shot so we can see what you're seeing?
