okay, this is a long time out of date right now but I say, let's do:

1.land this in cvs-HEAD this weekend
2. maybe start a yum 3.2 and  beyond branch of yum-utils to support this
3. find out how much we break in the process. :)


What do the rest of the folks think? Jeremy? James?
