Well I've learnt something today :) As you can tell I haven't done much 
graph stuff before.

Thanks for the clarification Paul and Chris.

Paul: The updated patches look fine. Again, I've only eyeballed them and 
have not run the code, but if you would like them to go so that other 
stuff can go on top then I say do it.
