My impression is that people don't know about  yum shell - I think
it's a marketing problem more than anything.

Unless you really like this whole caching and 'cookie' idea and want
to implement it, I'd say let's document the shell a little better and
point people at that.

Also, I use CentOS4 and the recent yum update to 2.4 is simply
astounding in how much faster it is.I got it with a bunch of other
updates and wasn't expecting it and then blammo yum is on speed.
