I've finally managed to find some time to check out this patch. It works 
great and the code generally looks good. I can already see a few things 
that can be improved wrt pulling stuff out of the databases and I'd like 
to help work through Gijs' TODO items.

I think I'll wait until this makes it into CVS before getting too 
serious to avoid a "patches-for-patches" situation.

Seth: Any chance of starting a branch for the sqlite work or is 2.1.13 
due any day now with the sqlite patches going into HEAD straight after that?
