Yah, that does look better. 
I think the only thing i'd prefer to do is not list it as:
"Removing/Completing updatte"  - new users tend to get nervous when they
see the word 'removing'. Especially when they don't understand than
update is an install + remove.

Thanks, I'll merge it sometime later this weekened most likely.

Have You tested this in yum -d0 and -d1 modes as well as outputting to a
non-tty?
