[Yum-devel] Is it possible to integrate the repomanage.py into yum clean?

After reading Seth Vidals blog on fedorapeople today I read about the
repomanage.py script. It got me wondering, is this functionality
available in yum clean today? 

If it isn't, is it possible to have an --old and --new option to yum
clean, which will allow you to clean the yum cache of older packages or
newer ones?

And by the way, I'm Sindre, your average Norwegian student, Fedora user
and yum fan.
