[Rpm-metadata] problem setting up local yum repo

First of all thanks for your help. I built this kernel off a David
Miller net git tree and I built the rpm with 'make rpm'. I captured the
output of 'yum -d 10 list 'kernel*'. In this output I see my repo 'jcdx'
and the kernel but I already have a 'kernel' installed so I guess I
can't install another of the same name? I haven't done anything to the
kernel.spec which I suspect to be part of my problem. I'm guessing that
I need my kernel to have a different package name for me to be able to
install it? If this is correct would you know what I need to do to
change the package name of this kernel? Thanks Ted On Sunday 10

Ok, so how about some output? What are you trying that makes you not see
packages? Try using yum with a -d switch for debugging and post the
results...
