I thought I had - evidently I was confused on which one was a and b.

ah - I see your point. Gotcha - right - I'm only listing the explicitly
owned dirs.

so iirc: and rpm -qpl some.rpm will only list explicitly owned dirs and
files.

That's what I'm proposing to list in the files section.
