There is a convention, first invented by MDK, to add the EVR of the 
package in
which the change first appeared. The EVR I refer to follows the e-mail 
address in
%changelog. Examples:

* Mon Oct 13 2003 Jeff Johnson <jbj at jbj.org> 4.2.42-0.2
- resurrect db4-java.
                                                                                

* Sat Sep 20 2003 Jeff Johnson <jbj at jbj.org> 4.2.42-0.1
- update to 4.2.42.
- build in build_unix subdir.
- eliminate --enable-dump185, db_dump185.c no longer compiles for libdb*.
- create db4-tcl sub-pkg to isolate libtcl dependencies.
                                                                                

* Tue Jul 15 2003 Joe Orton <jorton at redhat.com> 4.1.25-7
