I recently upgraded Python on my CentOS 4.4 server to Python 2.5. After
a while, I noticed that I was no longer able to run Yum. When I try, I
get the following message. Has anyone seen this before? If so, do you
know what causes this and how to resolve it?

>>>
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:

   No module named rpm

Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.

It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.5 (r25:51908, Nov 6 2006, 16:30:47)
[GCC 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-3)]

If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please go to
the yum faq at:

>>>

Thanks,
Jason
