For some reason, when I try to run yum this morning it hangs:

(ad nauseam, forever). It just sleeps. This is right after yum clean
all, and yumex hangs the same way. The only way out is kill -9, as it
is too hung for Ctrl-C to work.

It worked fine last night up to maybe 10 pm, so I'm guessing that this
is something in last night's FC5 update OR something odd in my
particular installation. However, this is a recently re-installed
system and hasn't been gooped up much. In fact, I need yum to goop it.

In a bit I'll try to run it with maximum debugging and report. I'll
also give it a half hour or so to complete.
