Oh Seth, you know:

Recommended by, clinical studies prove; it all comes down to the eternal list:

"it has been said" = my wife heard it
"commonly agreed" = my mother in law heard it too
"most people" = my neighbor has also heard it
"is is a fact" = my boss has heard it
"from reliable sources" = the guy at the nudy bar has heard it
"intelligence reports" = the bartender heard it too
"it is certain" = my dad heard it

well the list goes on - something like that.
