[Yum] what happened to the different -d0/-e0 levels?

The -d0/-e0 options are still in the man page, but seem to have no effect.
Am I doing something stupid again?


$ rpm -q yum
yum-2.3.3-1bu45s.3

$ sudo yum -d0 -e0 install fftw
