[Yum] Error running yum

hi...

when running yum 2.0.8, the following error appears...
 
[waldyd at Airei yum-2.0.8]$ yum -c /usr/etc/yum.conf

When doing as root:

[root at Airei yum-2.0.8]# yum check-update

How do i solve this??? May it happen because i am
