[Yum] (no subject)

I receive the following messages when I execute "yum update":


Gathering header information files files servers
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Base
Server: Fedora Core 2 - i386 - Released updates
Finding updated packages
Downloading needed headers
Resolving discrepancies
conflict between initscripts and pppd

  Then yum exits

What may be the problem
