[Yum] yum vs apt and releasever variable

Hello,

I just wanted to add that I am getting a similar error message, which I thought
was due to running through a proxy server.  This is using Red Hat Linux 9 - i386
as Base server.

It's 2.0.4

redhat-release-9-3
package fedora-release is not installed
