[Yum] Yum error in erasing?

you can also do an rpm -e --noscripts mailman

which will NOT run the %preun and %postun scriptlets


otherwise erik is exactly right - a failed scriptlet is not something
yum can do anything about - though I should figure out a way to catch
and bail more correctly.
