I got a machine setup.
The trouble - rpm.hdr objects are mutable in rpm 4.1 - so they can't be
used as a key in a hash. in rpm 4.2 they are immutable and therefore CAN
be used in a hash.

so - I'm not sure the solution - at the moment I'm inclined to say
rhl 8.0 == you must use rpm4.0.4 libs.

I'll see what I can figure out.
