I don't think I like this way of doing it. Currently the -d levels
mean "how much info", not "what format" and I think it should be kept
that way. If you want to implement a new option like
--format (list|csv|xml)
then fine, but I think mucking with the -d levels would just be
confusing.
Honestly, I'm not sure how much it matters, though. As Andrew points
out, it's not all that hard to parse what's currently there.
