[Yum-devel] isolated devel work that could make people happy

Hey folks,
Anyone here interested in working on something in yum which is not too
terribly convoluted I have a suggestion.

the yum.comps class handles parsing and interfacing to the comps/groups
in yum repositories. This is what is used when you run:
yum groupinstall/groupremove/groupupdate, etc

When there are mutliple comps files (one in each repo, for example) it
merges them into one structure in the class.

There's a need for it to turn around and write back out that merged
comps data back to comps-readable xml.

If anyone wants to work on that it would be great!

It's off the beaten path in yum and work there is unlikely to break
other pieces of yum in the process.

thanks,
-sv
