Some more testing here:  

base, dag, freshrpms, biorpms, newrpms, flash and updates: 6986 pkgs.

yum -C list updates

Sqlite:  1.96
Normal: 14.14

Would be really cool to see this merged...

BTW: how portable is Sqlite, does it work on x86_64, ppc, ppc64 and
ia64?
