How's this?  When we get to something we want to call 2.9.0, we'll
make our little announcements and then turn toward putting it into
yum.  I expect that to happen in the next week or so.  The last major
task on my plate is the progress meter and I think that's nearly
ready.  I don't know how ryan's coming on the threading stuff, but I
think that's his last major thing, too.  The rest is probably a few
hours total.
