[Rpm-metadata] Issue with createrepo in Oracle 6.7 Linux

Hi Createrepo Team,

We are currently using createrepo to create metadata for our rpms and merge the metadata. But the mergerepo is not working as expected. The mergerepo works well with Redhat Linux but not with Oracle. Is there anyway you can support our issue?
